Satellite Office
As of November 30, 2012,
the Worcester District Registry of Deeds will permanently close its
Fitchburg Satellite Office.
The Worcester District Registry of Deeds opened the Fitchburg Satellite Office
in 2006 in order for users in the northern part of the Worcester
District to record documents without the need to travel to the Registry
of Deeds in Worcester. Due to the implementation of our
electronic recording program, these concerns have been largely
alleviated. In addition, the closure of the Satellite Office is
aligned with our on-going efforts to reduce costs while providing the
best possible user experience.
